Many people will agree that a picture is worth a thousand words as the popular saying goes. It is in the same way that holiday pictures are very important and useful in explaining to others what a place look like and what activities you engaged in, while on holidays. Shots on breathtaking man-made structures or natural sceneries are usually most of the pictures you will find among people who go on holidays and this is always not hidden. I remember the pictures we took while on holidays to the Caribbean getaways of St. Thomas and Virgin Island, it is something my children often make fun of and that has also help to keep the bond of being a family together. I can’t imagine traveling on holidays without taking some holiday pictures. I get sunk in thought sometimes when going through my album of all the holiday pictures I have taken and sometimes, it helps me guide my thoughts on where I should go for my next holiday tour.

A holiday picture is definitely the best way of keeping those cherished, evergreen memories and reminding you of the times too. Most people can only tell of their experience by the picture they took. A lot more people can only tell what an aurora borealis looks like by pictures taken by people on holiday. A glimpse of such can only been seen in the Scandinavian like Norway or Finland. Holiday pictures are wonderful relics to remind us of all the fantastic fun and fanfare of a holiday vacation well spent. If you go on holidays and don’t come back with pictures of the place you visited and where you visited, you may be considered selfish or lying about where you went to. One of my best kinds of shots is pictures of natural scenes like mountains, natural gardens, and natural architectural designs. I also got to know about Eiffel Tower of Paris through a picture one of my uncles brought when he visited the French stronghold. I also got to know that it snows a lot in Asia through pictures taken by a friend of my Dad. It is something I love doing and I can spend hours taking pictures of places I visited, people I talked to and anything I consider worth remembering.
